Curling, often referred to as 'chess on ice', requires a strategical mindset, yet has historically been behind other sports in training our athletes to think analytically.
CurlData was born to fill the gap in curling data and analytics.
Born in 2021, and continuously evolving ever since, our platform provides innovative tools, research, and insights to the curling community, as we research and analyze the data behind curling and bring analytics to everyone!
My name is Logan Pugsley, I'm 21 years old and am from New Brunswick, Canada. As a multi-time provincial curling champion, an athlete at the 2019 Canada Games, and a university athlete, I've seen first-hand the analytics gap between curling and other major sports.
When a research opportunity presented itself, I started CurlData knowing that the work we were doing had the potential to help curlers around the world. Since the initial research project, CurlData has evolved into an integrated platform for curling analytics, with interactive dashboarding, statistics, research articles, and a paid team consulting service.
I'm proud of the platform we provide, giving curlers an interactive dashboard to instantly access analytics in game situations, up-to-date and easy-to-use statistics, and research on pressing topics in the curling world with the data to back them up!
Thanks for your interest, and I sincerely hope that CurlData's research is of interest to you. I invite you to engage with us via our website, on social media, or by contacting me directly.
Thanks for supporting CurlData!
